Oh so sad sock monkey!

Why is the sock monkey so blue? Because Jeri is laid up with a leg brace for four weeks. She fractured her kneecap (OUCH) and is working from bed most days. The pasting continues and Jeri is grateful for the company of her little buddy. A huge thanks and deep gratitude to friends and family who have cooked, run errands and schlepped me out for dinner, ice cream or just fresh air.

Save the Date!!!

It's almost time for Art in the Yard! Come celebrate with Jeri and her art buddy Pam Martin for being selected for HGTV's "That's Clever". These fun gals are definitely thinking outside of the art box with new blogs, a new web site for Jeri (www.veryjeri.etsy.com) and the best darned art show you've ever seen!

It's Saturday, April 26th from 10 - 4 at Pam Martin's studio on the Gress River in Midaway, GA. You'll want to dress for comfort and expect to see gallery quality art at studio prices! Parking is easy - park anywhere in the yard!

Bring a friend and email for directions to 43 River Road. Even Jeri can find it with no trouble and it's worth the short drive for this art adventure.

Welcome to Very Jeri!

You've found a place where newspaper and paste are transformed by hand (one strip at a time)into colorful and whimsical creations. What is the purpose of these animals and canvasses? The most important purpose of them all - to make someone smile. So enjoy looking at the world according to me; Sock Monkeys paint and dance and play piano, cats that wear hats, pigs that fly and crabs that serve as magnets and Christmas ornaments. Contact me at veryjeri@bellsouth.net for pricing or commission questions. Wholesale accounts welcome!

Most works are papier mache and acrylic paint on canvas. Canvas edges are painted, so this very lightweight artwork is ready to hang. Shipping is always C.W.P. (Cheapest way possible) and there is no charge for giggles or ooh's and aah's. I can be reached by email at veryjeri@bellsouth.net or by phone at 912-657-5740.
