Parking Lot Art

Ah, the glamorous career of the artist. Here's an example... I set up shop at the Market Bazaar in downtown Savannah yesterday. My "booth" was 2 parking spaces in the old Sears parking lot just south of Forsyth Park. (You'll notice my Toyota as part of the displays.) Vendors showed a mix of handmade art and flea market items. The day was hot, hot, hot - really hot. I was happy to see friends and family that stopped by and to reconnect with others I miss seeing since I closed my retail shop. All in all it was a very good - if very hot- day.

Art Show this Saturday!

Please come to see the Market Bazaar this Saturday, September 13 from 9-2 at the old Sears parking lot. This grand location is a quick walk from beautiful Forsyth Park in midtown.
I'll be selling these new collage cards! These are made with upcycled scrap paper from magazines, catalogs, etc.

A Winning Savannah Team!

We have put together a Savannah etsy team. Now a great group of local artists have joined forces tp promote the handmade art in their etsy shops. Look for news about the Savannah etsy team as we have our first show this fall.
New to etsy? Just go to etsy.com and choose BUY and LOCAL. You'll be amazed by all the Savannah talent you find there!

What a Great Art Show!!!

Saturday's Art in the Yard in Midway, GA was wonderful beyond our expectations! The setting was a sunny day overlooking the marsh and the river with the bonus of fun art everywhere. There were peanuts boiling, chicken wings grilling and Pam made her fresh homemade bread. Colorful art hung inside the studio, in the bushes and on the dock. Lots of pictures will be available soon, but these will give you an idea of grand a day it was. If you had to miss the show, you'll see lots of the new papier mache work on my etsy shop at veryjeri.etsy.com
