I am known for being up for just about ANY roadtrip and this blog entry proves it! My friend Pammie invited me to join her for a gourd buying trip in Wrens, GA. We drove 2 1/2 hours to Lena Braswell's gourd farm so Pammie could buy gourds for her amazing art project.
Truth be told, it was a beautiful sunny day and a fun trip. We had lunch at a wonderful Mennonite bakery across the highway from the farm. The cranberry date bar was YUM and Pammie bought a carload of gourds.
